Additionally, time is spent on a number of Business Situation Analysis scenarios using Case Studies of well-known Global brands such as Gillette, L’Oreal, Pantene and Gatorade.
Our faculty
The course is led by Joe Manero, BA, DipGM, FCIM, MCIL. A graduate of Durham University and Ashridge Business School, Joe is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing; Member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and Member of the Institute of Directors.
With over thirty years’ experience in International Trade, including 22 years developing Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey as a major brand from start-up, he has worked on Global Packaged Goods (Ever Ready, Camel, Winston), Global Premium Spirits (Smirnoff, Southern Comfort, Finlandia) and a portfolio of niche Super Premium brands.
He has extensive route-to-market expertise gained through appointment and management of Distribution arrangements in 26 separate West/Central/East European & Scandinavian markets. His International Marketing & Sales experience involved doing business in the local language (French, Spanish, Italian) and working for both private/family-owned and publicly-owned companies.
